First Steps to become a Seller

1.
No Cost. Get signed up at least as a buyer. As a
seller you will need a credit card, but it will not be used until
you start listing items to sell.
2.
PayPal
– No Cost. Sign up for a merchant account. 90% of
all eBay transactions use PayPal as the payment method of choice. Get
an account today - if nothing else get one so that you can use it to make
purchases on eBay. You do not need to sign up for a business or
premier account until you start making sales.
3.
ID Verify
- $5 and 5 minutes gives buyers confidence that you are who you say you are.
Thieves do not get ID verified. You get - Icon in your feedback page.
4.
Square Trade –
Monthly Fee. Is worth having just for the seal
that is put on each of your auctions. Statistics, Arbitration and Negative
feedback removal. It is not required but I highly recommend
getting your Square Trade seal once you begin selling - Try it out for the
first few months as a seller and then decide if it is worth it to your sales
success.
5. Now go buy something on eBay - You must
experience the buying process before you become a seller. Buying
will also increase your feedback ratings - I recommend that you get to 25
positive feedbacks as quickly as possible. If nothing else buy a
couple things that sell for $1.00 even if you do not need the item - you are
paying for the experience and knowledge it brings.
Click Here to make your first purchase - I put up this auction just for
the listeners - You can count on me for your first positive feedback
For less than $15 you have just made yourself a
verified, certified seller on eBay. What other business can you start
for $15?
The Next Step:
eBay Stores – If you have product that can
be sold over and over. $10/ month and the listing fees are pennies.
Trading Assistants- Get your name on the list of people who
sell other
peoples things for them on eBay.
